CAROLYN
Carolyn graduated from the University of Cincinnati Raymond Walters College with Dental Hygiene Degree in 1975. She became a Certified Dental Hygenist with the ICO-ADIA organization in 2015 and moved to the Genoa area after graduation and started with Dr. Norwalk in 1975 at the age of 20. After over 40 years of working with Doc, as we call him, she considers her patients her family. Her favorite aspect of her job is swapping stories with her patients that she has known for decades and getting to know the new patients that she meets daily. Age is of no consequence to Carolyn, 3 to 100 she will take care of them and include them as her own dental family. She is passionate about educating her patients in their homecare and talking with them about the latest dental resource, however sharing jokes and life stories is why she has been a dental hygienist for all of these years.
PHYLLIS
Named Phyllis by her parents, she will answer to just about anything, but we just call her Fa. Not quite born and raised in Genoa, but Fa did become a Hometown Gal at the tender age of 5 and has never left. Fa retired from banking after 25 years and joined our team in 2015 as the scheduling co-coordinator for Doc. Fa is an avid reader of murder and mayhem novels, a total animal lover with fat cat and ancient dog.

She comes to us with great people back ground having 30 years work experience in the fast food industry. She has two “fur babies” of the feline variety who keep her very entertained with their crazy cat antics. Ann’s hobbies include crocheting – everyone in her family has an Ann-made afghan, and reading good books. She reads every Nora Roberts and Dean Koontz book she can get her hands on.
ASHLEY
This gal is a corker and our hometown girl acts as Dr. Norwalk’s gal Friday (Dental Assistant). She is a 2008 graduate of Penta Career Institute in Dental Assisting, a Genoa area native and is very sports orientated. She played Varsity basketball on the 2008 League Championship team and she loves hanging out with her friends. She has a great personality and will help make you feel right at home in the dental chair. This job is her calling in life, since she loves people and likes making their day! Ashley in March 2013 achieved her Certified Dental Assisting designation by passing her national boards. 2013 she became a Certified Dental Assistant with ICOI-ADIA organization. 2015 – Ashley became a mother of a beautiful baby boy named Easton.
INGRID
This talented and knowledgeable individual is part of what make us go. She is our dental practice consultant and comes to us with a great deal of business “sense.” She is a graduate of Oakland University in Rochester Michigan with a degree in Human Resources and minor in computers. Ingrid also has her Practice Management Certification with the ICO-ADIA organization. Early in her career she was a General Manager and a Profit/Loss Specialist for T.G.I. Friday’s and in 1985 began her dental career as an Operational Manager of a large dental practice. In 2000 moved into the dental retail sales business. This diversified experience of software, hardware sales, training and building new dental offices added to her resume of contributions to other dental offices. She presently is acting president of her own firm, St. Catherine Consulting that began in 2006. She acts as the “breeze from behind to push us forward and helps “cement” the various arms of the practice into one cohesive unit. With Ingrid here, “The FORCE is DEFINITELY WITH US.”

JENNIFER

Graduated from Edinboro University of PA in 2006 with an Associate of Science degree Early Childhood Education in Preschool Education. After 9 years of teaching preschool, I went to work at the Dental Center of Northwest Ohio. I had many jobs, but the one I enjoyed most was being the Prior Authorization Specialist. I enjoyed seeing our patients smile with the joy from getting ‘new’ teeth that enhanced their self confidence. I love the Dental Center and their purpose to our community. They serve those on limited income, veterans, the homeless, and most of all the children in their care.
I graduated from Cullman High School in Cullman, AL and I am a HUGE Alabama Crimson Tide fan! RTR!!!! I love elephants, turtles and most any animal, especially my Teakers! Teak is my best friend’s dog. I have 3 siblings (2 brothers and 1 sister) and 4 nephews that are my world! I enjoy cross stitching, knitting and crocheting to name just a few of my hobbies. I enjoy hanging out with my friends and spending time with them. I am on the Advisory Board for Genoa Assembly #107, International Order of Rainbow for girls (I.O.R.G.) and I love spending time with my girls and watching them grow into young ladies. I am also a part of Lotus Chapter #477, Order of Eastern Star in Perrysburg.
